English abstract:
Laboratory hot tensile tests on specimens taken from continuously cast steel slabs are executed by means of a Gleeble apparatus to investigate the 2nd ductility minimum around 750°C and the influence of higher strain rate on the behaviour of flow curves and necking.
Furthermore the correlation of microstructure and ductility at temperatures above Ar3.

Keywords:
Hot tensile test, continuously cast steel slabs, reduction of area at fracture, fracture energy, deformation induced ferrite
